During the month of July we had an Ugly Office Chair Contest. City of Howard won the contest and were so thrilled to receive their prize! Congrats City of Howard and a big thank you to everyone who participated. We look forward to this contest next summer!

A local radio station, 102.5 The River, is putting on the annual 'Kids Who Make a Difference' campaign in Cowley County. This campaign is designed to give recognition to kids who are making good choices and positive contributions in our neighborhoods, school and communities.... Galaxie entered a team in the 9th annual Winfield Community Food Pantry 5K & Fun Run on April 1st. Despite the rain and cold all of the team members finished the course! We would like to thank Cowley Fitness for putting this together again in behalf of the Winfield Food Pantry and a big shout out to the team!

Caitlin French and Lindsay French volunteered on the set-up day of the 27th Kansas Sampler Festival. The festival brought over 8,000 visitors to Island Park in Winfield to discover all there is to do and see in Kansas! We are looking forward to the festival next year!
