Why am I getting scanning errors?

Most probably the scanner selected is not the correct one. Always check if VRS has been selected on your scanner selection. Some scanners do not work with VRS. In such a situation try choosing 'Fujitsu 3093DG without VRS with AIPE' as an example.

If VRS is supported then try using a selection such as 'Fujitsu 3093DG with VRS with AIPE'.

Why can't I release documents on error ?

When having problems with particular Document classes, it is possible to release all the Document Classes that are okay and have the erring Document classes routed to Quality Control for checking. See how to enable release on error.

SCSI device cannot be detected error?

If you consistently get the error message that 'SCSI device cannot be detected', check that all SCSI cable connections are physically in place and that the affected scanner is actually on. If even after a reboot, the device is still not detected, try running the ASPI32.exe which you can download from www.Adaptec.com for the particular version of Windows you have e.g Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows 9x.

I cannot see images in ICORE?

The destination of the images in ICORE are determined by the FORM type selected in a particular Document Class. If the images were successfully released into ICORE but you still cannot see them in ICORE, check the following;
